‘Having decided it was time to change my 1940’s, much neglected, garden into a beautiful, low maintenance garden that would give me joy and delight, I approached Claire Hawker of ‘Willow Garden Design’. I knew I needed help from an expert to plan this transformation and to find plants that would suit my garden soil and challenging light conditions. I have a hot south-facing wall with border in front, but also a north-facing, dry, overgrown area with large trees overhanging. Claire turned out to be the perfect choice. From beginning to end, the planning and completion process was easy and stress free. I felt included in every stage of the project and the end result reflects my garden style I was constantly impressed by Claire and her team. Claire is easy to work with, replied to questions promptly and is an excellent communicator. She was up-front about all the details, costs and when the work could be done. The planting phase was the same. The planting work was carried out with minimum disruption, intrusion or untidiness.
